HOLLIDAYSBURG – The Blair County Genealogical Society will meet at 7:00 pm Thursday, August 21st, 2025 at the Roller Hojeth Memorial Library, 431 Scotch Valley Rd Hollidaysburg,

Our speaker this month is Bellwood High school student, Kevin Stiver. Kevin will be presenting a Pictorial History of the World Famous Horseshoe Curve. 

This presentation will highlight the development of the famous rail landmark through an extensive collection of images. 

You may recognize Kevin as a previous speaker talking about his books “Glen White, PA- The town that was forgotten in the Alleghenies” and “Overcoming the Alleghenies” about the early days of the Kittanning trail.

The meeting is free and open to the public. Our building is handicap accessible. Please join us!
